lager and cider

<< < (2/8) > >>

Frankie-Boy:
Yup, black and tan - made by mixing stout or Guinness (The Black) with draught beer or bottled light ale (The Tan).

BrumLee:
Snake-bite traditionally was strongbow and breaker. Was always a cloudy drink that soon done the trick. Called a snake-bite as it numbed your mouth and if you bit your tounge or cheek you wouldn't feel it.

Coventry pubs would give you your ticket just for ordering a snake-bite as the drink had such a reputation

There's also a Mickey Mouse (mixed) which was bitter and larger I think  :?

Baby_Rhino:
Our snakebike was made with carlsburg and strowbow; went cloudy-ish but not that bad.

Huge fan of snakebite and black tho  :D  (same drink with a splash of blackcurrent) altho your lips end up stained purple in the morning!

woody:
what about a pint of golden :?:

dazzawhipple:
