MPG Yes I know V8 are thirsty
Range Rover Blues:
I wish i could, it was on the car when we bought it and it's about the only thing I havn't had to repair......
....wait...
Tell a lie it fell off about 18 months ago :?
I'd guess it came from 'a well known Independant LR specialist', as the car belonged to one of their mech... (oops, nearly insulted mechanics then) er blokes. The top says Safari on it, the pipe is straight save a bend at the top to make the Safari top sit at the right angle, the bottom goes into a flexi hose that goes through a hole cut in the decker panel and runs through the gap behind that and above the wing rail. I modified the air box as it was not connected when we got the car and I used a standard 3.9 air box to plenum hose as it's the right diameter by chance. I cut the trumpet off the airbox and welded a flat plate over it, same with the drain in the bottom of the air box and made the pipe connect to a 'trumpet' I fabricated and welded to the side, facing slightly backwards towards the Snorkel.
One day I might take some pictures
steveiboy:
hiya all just brought a rangie 3,9 with lpg converstion i reckon im getting about 190mpg on gas from 70 litres is that average, dont know about petrol mpg 8) 8) 8) 8)
Range Rover Blues:
I'd say 190 miles on 70 litres is pretty fair going, does it have more power on petrol, as it may be a little bit lean.
steveiboy:

Range Rover Blues:
