Rear Window Dog Guard

(1/1)

landroverkeith:
Has anyone fitted one of these? its a genuine landrover one and its not quite wat i expected    awfull lot of drilling holes in plastic and plenty of excuses for me not to do it..

suppose i should make the effort but if she beats me up cos i naff up her car lol its your fault

Blippie:
Fitted one of these myself and if I can do it, anyone can.  Took the best part of an afternoon, but only because I had to have lots of cups of tea to summon up the courage to attack the door card with the drill.

Measure twice, cut once ...  I found it was a two-person job, second pewrson for holding things, checking measurements and just for moral support!

Actually there is a fair bit of tolerance and it doesn't matter if you are a few mm out.

End result is very handy and probably the best mod to our standard Freelander.  I've got a Freelander Commercial rear window guard but no instructions or fittings, so if anyone has fitted one of those, I would be interested to know how.

Cheers

Blippie
