bobtailing a rangie!

tjsj:
Hello everyone, my mates got a rangie which he wants to bobtail. Its an off road vehicle so doesn't have to be a great job but its got a rusty chassis at the back so thought that bobbing it might be a good idea. Any pictures or tips would be really helpfull. Its going to be very near the rear axle so very short!! Cheers Tom

Heres one very nice site for some inspiration http://www.bobtail.org.uk/bobtail/arrival.htm

As for the rusty rear end, if its rusted body cross member (not the chassis) then you can buy a weld in replacement which cost around £40 to buy. Like wise there are relacement parts for most of the RRC body

cheers for that. Looks like a good descripton to do it from. Dows anyones have any pictures that they have taken during the process of bobbing one?
Cheers
