Tyre Choice

(1/5) > >>

Cal:
Hiya,

I'm looking to get some All Terrain tyres and have pretty much narrowed it down to a choice of two:

BFG AT

or

Grabber AT2

Which should I go for??

As far as I can work out, BFG are more expensive but should last longer, but how different are they on and off-road?

Any thoughts appreciated  :)

glaggs:
Colways, much cheaper and just as good.

Bulli:
neither , muds are better. i have bfgs and they are still very good on the road.

Henry Webster:
BFGs are excellent and the benchmark for AT tyres.

I'm currently running Goodyear AT/R which are better on dry tarmac than the BFGs, not quite as good on wet tarmac, but about equal in the mud.  And they have lasted amazingly well.

I think I'll try Matador's Izzarda AT next.

Damonski:
Im on the BFG AT's and very impressed so far about 9 months driving on them now, road and greenlanes and pay-n-play site.
