Greasing UJ's

UJ's should be greased warm as this allows the grease to flow.........

A word of caution, forcing grease out of the UJs effectively knakers the seal, though this does depend a bit on the design of the seal. This makes it much easier for the grease to leak out and the dirt to get in, but if greased reguarly its easier to clean the dirt out of the UJs.

In a nut shell make sure you grease the UJs more reguarly as now the dirt seals are less effective than it should be.



Its one of those subjects where there are several different ways of doing it and nearly all will work, but have there own advantages/disadvantages. Pesonally I preffere to over reguarly grease UJs etc. because no seal is going to last forever, especially when the car is waist deep in mud.
