Okay, I just drew this out, and you'd need to relay (Winch rated solenoids ??) a number of connections in order to get this to work  

You basically have to cut one of the batteries earths and both batteries lives (Otherwise you push 24v back on the alt, then make a connection across from positive to negative one batt to the other....  you then need to revert all of this once the car starts. God knows what this would do to the engine management or radio and that, it also relies on the solenoids being "Break before make".

Try Milner offroad, they do lots of Jap stuff.
