saw 5th gear tonight and the new lexus hybrid is exempt from the congestion charge

and its just as quick as an M5!

Not that i will ever go there, but I thought that disabled vehicles were exempt, obviously not :?

disabled vehicles only exempt if they have been registered with Transport for London.

This was free before the charge came in, now you have to pay a tenner. :x

I had to go into central london last month. I knew that the charge needed paying but i was pushed for time and i thought i would just pay over the internet when i got back to manchester later on. After long delays on the journey home i got back shortly after midnight, i got on the internet straight away but it was too late and i got hit with a £50 fine. It wouldn't be so bad but i hate the place and i certainly don't like paying £50 for the privelige of going. :evil:
