ie C+E Licence
as a friend of mine wants to do his test and wants to know how to go about it
does he have to take his hgv c type first or can he go staight onto artics ect

nope he has too start from the bottom i.e c then work his way up  :wink:

he wants to train in his own time and money so he best get saving then

MK1:
Depending on when he passed his test, he may have to take his 7.5T first.

Then C and then onto C+E.

C is any RIGID vehicle over 7.5T, but with a restricted trailer (something like 750kg).

C+E is the rigid PLUS trailer, ie artics, wagon and drag etc.
