Icelandic suspension lifts .

hi all .

 I was just going through some of the first defender posts this morning and came across a 110 with huge tires and a big lift posted by Richard .

 i have to say that this looks really good .

 but was shocked to hear on devon 4x4 that it would cost you 30k :shock:  :shock:

would you not get the same look for 5k if you just raised the suspension by about 10 inches and added 40 inches of thread ? and of across youd have to change the UJ,s and small bits like that .
sure Hilux drivers do that and dont they have crap mechanics compared to the green oval ?

will someone please inlighten me as to what is wrong with this dream  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(

wouldnt a body lift be required too?

there was an article in lro last year about the icelandic giants..

they look the biz and would be quite cool to park on a metered zone and see if they can clamp it!  :evil:
