I found the noise!!!!

(1/2) > >>

Robbo:
ok wheels now off...its the right hand wheel bearing/s.
So how easy is this to do? and what parts might i need?
the crunching noise was helped by the leading shoe pull-off spring freely dangling as well! so will have to put that back as well - how easy is it to bleed brakes ???

Cheers Robbo - some say driver of Daisy...

blackbob:
you dont need to bleed the brakes to do a wheel bearing

but if you need to bleed them
get your self an easy bleed from halfords about £16 makes life real easy
a great investment

mark.yellow.series.3:
you should have no problem mate.

I'm doing the shoe as well! and my pedal needs a little pumping at the mo so I assume there is air in the system somewhere?

mark.yellow.series.3:
you dont need to bleed to do the shoes, but spongy pedal is probibly air in the system. eazy-bleed kit is the best way of doing ive found.
