I must say working on the motors half the fun and lets face it it aint what youd call hard work is it at least with these things you can make it up as you go along there are no real rules as long as you get out of it what you want who cares. :roll:

I drive 1959 series 2 SWB .My personal opinion the definative Landy ever built.I also drive a 1990 Disco 200 Tdi .I know it was a parts bin kit but without it would Landrover have survived it sold in its Thousands from day one.It combined Range Rover chassis with a very adaptable body.The Discovery was bigger than the Range Rover it was a 7 seater from day one . But thanks to clever styling no body realised at the time.The Range Rover was king.I think that Land Rover produce the best of the field thanks to the skill in the company not that they company realise this its left to the enthusiast.Although now they are getting the idea by the fact they are remanufacturing parts for the classic Land Rovers.

Can't remember what it is for the D2.

D2 is also 100" but with a longer overhang...
D3 is 114"
Classic RR is 100" bar the LSE which is 108"
38A RR is 108"
New Range Rover (L322) is 108.5" AFAIK
RR Sport is 108"
A LR 90" is 92.9"
LR 110" is 110"
LR 127" and 130" - are both 127"
