I was going to post this in the Greenlaning section but want the most people to see it as possible - so Mods will leave it up to you to decide,

 When out on Salisbury plain in a working capacity i came accross a scene that perfectly sums up why we have lost the battle to keep our right to drive the Rupps , 3Range-rovers,3Disco s, 2 90 s, 1 Nissan Patrol-
useing an Anciant burial mound to race across and get some air- with wifes and siblings in the gallery clapping the antics, when i approached them they gathered up spectators and did a star-burst in all directions-meet ing up some mile or so away, I took a short cut around a wood to find them now hammering up and down an old Roman road/ditch which was fenced off with poles with white painted tops to show -Monument status -i drove up to the parked up motors and asked if they were aware they could be arrested and also loose there motors for there actions-
this was met by mass jeering - i then told them that they were miles from any Byway and was met with so what!
I then did something that i have never done before in my life -i rang the
MOD Police and Grassed them  giving OS map referance to pinpoint them the Rights of way officer accompanied by 4 more Police 90 s and 8 officers turned up chatted to each in turn -issued 30 pound tickets for tresspass and told them to leave, They have to catch you in the act to arrest and summonds you to court- ,There numbers go on the central computor  for future referance and thats it -but the Legacey of there actions live on when Rights of way officer gives his account to the PRESS
Officer, and we all know how thats going to read dont we? Gutted

totaly agree you did the right thing we have to set good examples for both sides of the fence ie report the good and the bad so we are none biased but still want to keep our rights

Spot on at the end of the day you did the right thing. even though is more ammo for the anti lot. But think of the press it would of got had they trashed the roman ditch. I used to train on the plain in sabre and chall 2 and we all knew to leave the big mole hills :lol:  well alone so if a dum tank driver could advode them so can i civvey drivers. shame there were no challs near you  I would love to see there face when a chally points its main gun towards them and tells them to leave :shock: still like its been said before its the small band of pratts that spoil it for everyone.
