Water leak!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks for your help

(1/4) > >>

Disco Bristol:
OK so I may have asked before, and a few suggestions were made, but I cannot source a very very frustrating water leak. I have also had the window resealed.

Take a look at the photos, in one of them I have drawn a red line around the area where the water gathers. Can you guys come up with a few ideas where this might be coming from.

What I know, it is water, not coolant, my sunroof drain holes are not blocked (as there don’t appear to be any). I have had the hose spraying the car from all angles while I was inside trying to find the leak and could not find anything.

Very frustrated, please help, I want to but my car back together again!

Disco Bristol:
I have also filled the area outlined in the photo with water and that does not seem to be the source.

denviks:
just a quick question mate....does it happen when driving or when parked?

Disco Bristol:
Not so sure, I only use it about 3 or 4 times per week. I have never managed to let it dry out fully as the sound insulation foam is like a sponge and takes an age to dry out. I think it happens more when I am washing the car, but I do not use a jet wash nor high pressure.

denviks:
could it be coming in down the A pillar. mine does it now and again. it comes in between the A pillar and the leading edge of window frame. just an option to look at. can you pin back the foam and dry the floor and then wash the car?
