Les Brock:
Here's mine with 265/75/16 BFG Muds

Required a Camel cut on the rear arches

Turning circle reduced very slightly, but I've not found it a problem

--- Quote from: "fram" ---We've got 245.70.16 Colway A/T's on ours with a 2" lift and standard alloys. There is a bit of room to go bigger still if we wanted to.
If you fancy a bit of a drive to get a good deal try Riverside All Terain at Boston or Sleaford 4x4 (at Sleaford if you hadn't guessed). They don't actually fit them as far as I know, but they are very reasonably priced and it might be worth the drive up the A17.

thanks fof the info think il go with the 245.70.16 thanks

It doesn't have the sizes your asking about but similare sizes will give you an idead of what your in for.

According to BFG (tyre size charts on their website), 285 tyres will require a 7.5 inch rim or wider, so disco rim at 7 inchs IIRC is too small by a fraction, but the 265 width should fit OK.
