drmike:
Can't you adjust some of the slack aay using the nut on the top of the steering box? I thought you could or have you tried that already?

i havnt touched it im not sure what to adjust can you advise please .Ray
drmike:
Well I'm no expert but as I recall
Look at top of box
Is there somewhere near the middle a square section bolt with a lock nut on it coming out of the casing?
It will be pretty obvious - or it is on all the boxes I've seen
You slacken the lock nut trying not to let anything else move
Then ease the centre bolt in a small amount.
Test for play as you go and be aware that as you tighten teh lock nut all your careful adjusting gets messed up!
Always a good idea to mark where you started from so you can get back there if you follow.
I'm sure someone more expert will eb along in a moment though.
This certainly helped with my RR and a mate's 90.
