TD5 - About to purchase, but rear door won't open!!

My '97 300Tdi also had a rear door that wouldn't open, intermittently. It turned out to be a broken spring in the rear door lock. Bought one off e-Bay for about a fiver and fitted it, hey presto ! working door lock.
Apparently it's all to do with the spring returning the door lock to the unlocked position, biggest headache is getting the door open in the first place.

Same thing happened to the father-in-law's TD5. Simple fix, same as has been said 8)

as for the VFR - BUY A REAL BIKE! Oh, and Darryl, join the discovery owners club will ya! I am working on their off road course at weights lane and its worth the membership on its own.
