Chirst I think im going to have to think a bit more about mine
If I can get it to look half that good ill be a happy man
I did manage to pick up some 3" inside bore pipe about 8 inches wider than the landy is so once iv cut it down and made a winch plate I should have a fair amount left over and not bad for the cost of a pint and being a cheeky scouser
anyone else made any custom bumpers that can post pics or links to I think with the longer days getting here there could be some nice projects to be done

Hey Fatusbloke, I recognise that bumper from Bainland at Easter! We're the ones with the green Disco that had the dodgy box section lift.
Basically the same sort of thing that we are thinking of, but we are going for the full tubular thing. Really like the way you've taken it round the corners, just makes a nice tidy job of it.
Another idea we had was to add recovery eyes (same shape as the Mill Services bolt on ones) and jacking points onto the bumper brackets where they bolt to the chassis. Will have to go and buy a couple of longer bolts to make it fit as we already have the steering guard on, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
