whatever you do or use a good set of goggles would be a good idea

microwave a couple of CDRs first, it might blow the microwave up, but you get really pretty patterns on them after a few seconds

You can make home made plastic by boiling up bleach and sugar together (not sure on ratio).
You could try this in the microwave in a metal pan.
Range Rover Blues:
Aluminium filings and coaldust. Sealed container of petrol. Baking powder.
I was watching something the other night, apparently one of the non-hazardous surfactants when mixed with Zink gives off hydrogen, it blew the deck clean off a tanker ship :shock:
