Disco V8i 3.9 1996 wont turn over Help Please !!!!!!!

My disco refuses to turn over. If I connect the cable to the solenoid to a live the starter turns over and the car starts, but ir refuses to turn over by the key.

Could anyone tell me where the starter relay is located ?

I have traced the red/white cable from the ignition switch to the alarm panel but don't know where it goes from there.

Any wiring diagrams greatfully recieved. I have a haynes manual but it does not seem to show the correct diagram for the starting circuit.

HELP Please
