Anyone fitted Mill Services rock sliders?

(1/2) > >>

As it says above, have printed off the fitting sheet from their website but if anyone has any first hand knowledge and can offer any pointers, ie, do you fix the brackets to the sliders before offering them up?
Any help or advice much appreciated.

I have these ones which I think are mill services ones.

I found that 1 hole in the outrigger lined up perfectly from where the girly side steps were but the driver side didnt line up!

It is easier to offer the whole lot up then mark a whole for the out rigger piece then temporarily bolt in in and put a trolley jck under other end to measure up all the other holes. I had no instructions. also I would recomend making some 2 inch square spacers to put on the nut side of the cill to spread the load a bit.

photo is too big so i will put it in my photos area.

Cheers for that.

We've got the ones without the tree sliders, but they look basically the same. Ours haven't actually got any holes pre-drilled in them, I think the reason being is, as we all know, no two land rovers are the same, so you're better off drilling you own holes!

Have yours got the bit on that is bolted or riveted to the sill? Our idea was to fix this bit first to support it while fitting the rest.
