(1/2) > >>

blackbob:
I want to send a letter to my mp about discrimination against 4x4 users and stating that we are persicuted againts and about disabled discrimination with the cutting of green lanes which cuts access to the country side
i would like some help ie some one else to word it and then i can copy it and sign it and send it also get some coppied and get others to send in aswell
i was thinking of taking  copies to the 4x4 play days for better affect

discograham:
 check your pm's

the loon:
Its a good idea and I say go for it perhaps if we all start to voice our side of the argument then we may get a bit more representation.
However I wrote to my MP (Dave Anderson Blaydon, labour)  back in feb of this year about he same subject
I got a nice letter back assuring me he would contact the office of the minister of transport Malcolm "anti 4x4" Wicks and reply once he had a responce ....
I'm still waiting.

I wonder if these people remember who put them where they are ....I dought it
(rant over)

rokcrawlin:
send me a copy of what you roughly want to say and i will sort out the letter for you....Pete

rokcrawlin:
Or will something along the lines of this help.
Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to express a concern against the blatant attempt to ban access to the countryside for disabled and deprived members of the population .
This ban would involve the banning of vehicular access using greenlanes / byways and prevent the affected people from viewing, what the rambler association members and horse riders can take for granted,
I would like to point out that no one makes a wheelchair that is as capable as a four wheel drive and has the ability to carry  disabled people as far and in comfort and in numbers.
I hope you will publically support my concern and voice them to the Transport minister and not privately refer them to him for his comments,
as he seems to have an  anti- four by four agenda which will stop me taking the disabled and deprived into places of great beauty that others would take for granted ...... yours faithfully
