What not to do with grinder !

<< < (4/5) > >>

abinitio:
Sorry to hear about your incident Martin...at least you have a new story to tell when the 'look at my scar' competition starts one drunken night.

Seriously, glad you are as well as can be considering, could have been much worse

Devon-Rover:
Hope you get well soon.

I have had 3 cheap grinder disks go to bits on me.    spose i should have learn't after the first died.

But on a few occasions i have had a grinder bite and come close to catching me. But as above treat it like it wants to get you.

seph234:
glad to hear your ok. and why dont they make 4" or 9" angle grinders with clutches in them like the 12 " petrol one i use at work it would save quite a few accidents.   joe

p.s i also know somebody whos has had his front teeth smashed out by a 9" grinder when it grabbad and spun round

Bush Tucker Man:
I've not suffered myself. but I've seen plenty of grinder related injuries.
Most aren't nice.

Flowerman:
Blimey, I'm amazed how many of us have had grinder accidents/incidents. I always treat mine with the utmost respect, but they are so damn useful... it takes ages to get the job done with a hack saw; wire brush; vegetable peeler.

Anyway, all the best.
