fitting vauxhall 1.7 diesel into sj 410

got the 1.7 non turbo engine plus 2 litre carlton r25 box complete with linkage and prop
got super duper flywheel and clutch inc engine mounts etc
need to sort prop gearbox to transfer box any one know a reputable company
any info onwards would be helpful to take into consideration cheers zukiman

My prop was made by propshaft technology in Rotherham, top job there.
What gearbox have you got?? The Getrag as fitted to Manta, and 3l carlton is the one I used.
Its very short, is yours the same?
What flywheel have you got?? the diesel one is a very heavy unit with a recessed clutch. I seem to remember using the pressure plate from the 1.7td, the friction plate from a 1.8 carlton, and a 3l carlton release bearing.
Check the clutch actuator arm as well, if you use the recessed diesel flywheel, and the carlton box, it doesnt fit right and needs a dog leg making in it to clear the flywheel
