pipe down wee man
id have an isuzu engine in my 90 anyday, more go than a V8 as standard
Manicminer:
The reason that nothing goes on here is that they are built to a better standard and keep on going day in day out.
I do 30000 miles a year and other than oil changes, I have only had to change the brake pads.
In standard unmodified mode they are nearly as good as a 90 off road. Their downfall is a shallow departure angle, low ground clearance and at nearly 3t (full fuel tank, me at 110kg, and tools in the back) they do sink in wet ground. A suspension lift and taller tyres will ensure that it's just as good as the next vehicle any day.
Try and cross axle one when you have the chance. You will find that you can't.

Maybe I was wrong - stuff does go on here. :(bigshock):
I used to drive a Trooper. Must say, it was very comfy, and yes, I have driven one in anger - down the M69 with my hand on the horn.

Looked under the lid of my meriva 1.7td the other day, the injector pump at least was Isuzu, I presume the whole engine is
