need help and some advice please
dminto69:
looking at getting a lifting kit for my 300 tdi been told a full kit is 350.00 in this kit you get everytning but here comes the main question do i need everything spoke to paddocks who quoted me that price in that kit you get brake hoses, and other bits i beleive ,but what i know of suspension lifts you could write on a back of a stamp with your font size maximum .so do i buy the kit and waste alot more money or do i just buy the springs and procomp es9000 shock absorbers any advice would be helpful
stratie:
Most ppl just go for the spring's and shock's.
I fitted 2+ spring's and pro comp shocks to my disco, and i still have the standard brake hoses.
Disco Inferno:
you can get away without the hoses, personally though i don't like being able to play a tune on them at full articulation
i'd change em

Hi
I fitter 2" springs and shock 12months ago with out extended brake hoses but after seeing who stretched they go when the axle get twisted I've just brought a set of extended hoses to fit
fram:
We just fitted the Paddocks kit to our 200tdi and it looks great. Our way of thinking was you might as well get everything you might need to start off with to save any messing around in the future. Not only do you get the extended hoses, you also get extended bump stops and disslocation cones.
If you just fit springs and shocks, then find out in a few weeks time that you need extended hoses, disslocation cones and extended bump stops you're going to be pretty fed up if you have to take everything to bits again, plus it will cost you more than buying the whole kit in the first place!
Go for the kit. Job's a good'un.
