Shocks
Matt_H:
just as I'm getting things sorted on the 90 (and the credit card is maxed out) I find I've got a leaky rear shock (Old Man Emu).. Can it be rebuilt and if so is it worth it?
Assuming it can't be rebuilt what are my choices? The handling with the 2" lift is excellent at the moment (well compared to the disco anyway!). Is there really much difference between OME and say Procomp?
Paddocks do the following
Pro comp - £26
de carbon - £44.50
OME - £55
Are there any decent deals out there at the moment?

ibexman:
After my front OME 2"+ shocks wore out, I replaced them with the Procomp ES9000 +2" ones. Been very happy with them. Seem to get better front axle articulation for some reason - dont know why.

Matt_H:
well from that bit of info there really doesn't seem any need to buy the dearer ones then :)

Henry Webster:
I'm a big fan of procomps - use them on the racer and have beaten lots of people who spend more on one corner of shocks than I do on a whole set.
See www.FriesianRacing.co.uk for the abuse I put them through!
Matt_H:
if you give them that sort of abuse you've probably bust one or tow and am hoping know the cheapest place to get em... so are paddock prices good or is there somewhere better?
I've seen em listed on ebay but always a bit cautious about buying stuff from there like that as no real come back if things go wrong.
