Got a friend who lives in Banderloch on the North side of the bridge, not been down that way in a while.  :-k

I envy you your drive.  I have lived in Scotland on and off over the years and the scenery really does take some beating.

One of my favourites was down Glen Sheil, with the Five Sisters of Kintail on your right, Eileen Donan Castle at the bottom and a distant view of Skye.  I've done it on a cold, crisp morning with the snow down to sea level, perfect blue skies and hardly another car on the road.  Takes some beating.

I thought I had some photos, but can't find the ones I wanted, so an evening view from Loch Duich towards Skye might whet someones appetite :)

Passed through Benderloch today Budgie - thought about heading for Fort William but ran out of time - still, there's always next weekend ! :D

Hi Budgie,

Where are you in the Outer Hebrides?  I spent 2 years on Benbecula in my RAF days and managed to tramp over just about every hill in North and South Uist.  Loved the place and the relaxed pace of life.
