Multi-Pin Plugs
Bush Tucker Man:
Whilst 'pottering' yesterday afternoon, I noticed these 2 spare (unconnected) multi-pin plugs at the front of the near-side wing.
What are they for??
I'll assume fog-lamps & Spot-lights, until identified otherwise
mmgemini:
Can you give me the colour codes of the wires please.
Orange should be screen wiper motor stuff. :?: :shock:
Light green/black should be front screen jet to screen jet motor. :roll:
Neither make sense to me.
Bush Tucker Man:
Will have another look & note down colours & traces (if any)
They're only in that position as I pulled them up.
Not attached to anything, both were loose.
Bush Tucker Man:
Right. I've had a look;
The 2-pin socket is;
Orange/Black
Black
The 3-pin socket is;
Red/Orange
Light Blue/Yellow
Black
The 2 blacks must be earths, as they're the common colour.

OK from my Lucas wiring information.
Black as you say is always earth.
Orange/black should be.Switch to windscreen first speed or intermittent unit. Hmmmm
Red/orange.Should be fusebox to rear fog guard light.
Light blue/yerllow should be. I have no light blue shewn in my book????However I have blue/yellow which should be...Long range driving light to lamp.
Now if you go to www.lrtech there's a wiring post on there which I've given most of the most used colours.
