Yep there ya go.....good point mark.....fuel filler cap.....humm thats got to be sorted..... I know.....Behind the seat in a series is the flexi pipe to the tank drain pipe snorkel for that then....
Any more ideas guys.

Why would you do this ! Is it a scrap vehicle anyway and you are just seeing what is possible . I know you can totaly submerge a landrover but even with all the preperation is does a great deal of damage to a lot of components . Unless you plan a total stripdown afterwards how are you going to get the water out of all the lights and the instument panel and many other places the water will sit for weeks .
There was an article about the marines and there landrovers in ( i think ) LRO a couple of years back . That told you all the things you needed to do . Good luck with the water .

Like you said to prove a point and for the fun. Yes its going to be stripped down and saved for a rebuild at some stage. It will probably be the last run of the old 1975 series and then its going to be pulled apart and made into a BEAST. We are going to get it on Video camera for MC to see.
