Got me a new bumper, mainly home made....very cheap! :D

picture of it below - A big thanks to dieselboy for welding it up.

the winch sits right back into the grille/radiator so the approach angle is significantly better than before. just need to work out were to put me no. plate. A Sticky bonnet one will do until mot time I spose.

Very Nice Dave (& Sam)

Are you going to get an alloy fairlead and a plasma rope? That'll take an extra inch or two off the front end too. Would you have had room for the winch to sit so far back if you'd have fitted the full length intercooler? I've often wondered if there's enough space for both.

Is 2006 going to be a competition year Dave? A few serious events in the pipeline?

Andy

funny you should mention a challenge year - I am seriously tempted, especially after watching the scorpion challenge the other day (which was held at our woods).

I think that there would be room (just) for a full width intercooler. The top tray sits on top and about one third forward two thirds back on the bumper if that makes sense, if i didnt fit it that way i cant get to the winch bolts. The grille has been completely cut to get around the winch and the freespool lever.

A nice plasma and stainless fairlead would look nice wouldnt it!

 :D

Looks ok.....  but would look better on my 90!!!

Seriously though, looks smart, have you got any plans/drawings??  :D
