Yeah, my 300tdi is good on fuel, and apparently if the need should arise you can fill 30% veg oil added to the diesel....But i wouldnt try it until i find out the legal implications (tax).
Plus the 300tdi is a lot more resistant to water/river crossings etc.
Looking forward to the photos Def110, i'll be picking your brains for advice when the time arises for my chassis exchange :D
