When I left school my first job was an apprentice in a drawing office.
In those days everything was hand copied the printed on dyline paper in an amonia bath.

Now in those days I could copy most things.Mapping pen,the dip in ink type.

So I'm given this cartoon of an army sargent holding two new recruits [??] to noses to a hand turned grindstone,a corpral turning the handle of the grindstone.
Nil illegitmate carborumdum was the title of the cartoon.

I didn't have the option of Latin at school  :twisted:
