pulled up to a majour roundabout todya Series 3 broke down in outside Lane pillocks behind him papping horns didnt even get out to help :twisted:

got out it was firing and then dying ..had a look Lift pump knackerd so i towed him onto the middle of the Island and gave him a lifty home..

series was in mint condition the chap said i have had enough i am getting a car..i said nahh Landys and spanners go together matey..


He laughed and said yeaaaaaaa..

Couldnt agree more.
When the slave cylinder went on the clutch at the weeekend and I was stopped besides the road(safe place out of way of traiffic but still on rather busy roundabout) the only person who bothered to pull up and see if there was any assistance he could give was an old guy in a modified 90
Explained situation that was waiting on the recovery truck and had a bit of a chat but no one else could be bothered.

Mind you there where quite a few land rovers that did go past and didnt even give me a second look.

many thanks to disco geordie though for all the help he managed to give me and appologies to his SWMBO for messing up her weekend
