pulling to the left when driving along but gets worse
Arightpest:
The steering wheel turns when I brake. I have checked the rear break and it’s totally free
i will have a look at the bushes what they like to change
lrmike:
Bushes are not too bad to change, and that's my guess also. The other possibility is one of the front brake hoses may be deteriorated internally, this can cause it to plug shut like a flapper valve under braking. In the shop here it's general practice to recommend hoses if we do the calipers.
Paul:
You might of done so already but not mentioned it... Check the tyre pressures.
extreme90:
something is slowing the left hand tyres down which is causing the right hand side to push it over to the left
or as previously mentioned the radius or panhrod bushes are worn but what ever it is its something on the left hand side
Cal:
Hiya,
Mine does the same, except it pulls to the right when braking, especially when braking hard.
I've recently had all bushes changed and a few months ago had calipers, discs, pads and hoses changed and it still does it, though not quite as bad as it was before.
HELP!!!
I'm not really sure what there is left to change other than tyres (front pair are same age and rear pair are the same age).
That's not much help to you is it ARightPest?! :(
