I went down to Portsmouth back in December for the Christmas Fair
It was a great day out.

The pointy thing is Portsmouth's millenium tower, which was finished in 2005 and cost eight times as much as it was supposed to, so rather good by council standards.

The ship infront of it is a US "High Speed" cargo ship / mine layer which was at Portsmouth for some R&R and apparently some maintenence (allegedly we built it)

I'll bet your really proud of that tower and the great achievement, just like I'm of the one down the road from me. :roll:
