Yay!! The skip lives!!
« on: March 30, 2006, 14:35:47 »
Well, I'm a bit gobsmacked!! Tim(berdog) very kindly came over today and put in those awkward little manifold studs which have confounded me for the last couple of 'workshop' sessions, and blow me!! It goes!!   - no rattles, pops, bangs or anything else untoward; blimey, I feel like a REAL mechanic!! :(biggrin): (anyone know where I can find one?? )
Thanks very much for your help Tim, much appreciated!! :(contented):

I've not been able to road test it yet, as I'm still trying to get insurance cover; those bl@@dy idiots at L@*****r have screwed me good and proper by cancelling my policy!! ](*,)  quotes I've had so far have been up to twice what I paid for the skip!!

edit: I've just been 'quoted happy' and will shortly be taking the skip out to see how it behaves!! :(contented):

Erm, no Shayne, no insulting tape was used at all in the re-launching of the skip; I'm puzzled now; what could you be referring to???
