Fit lower washer only and tighten nut then undo and fit top washer. Worked on mine ? :idea:
If not then compressing shock should work. You may find you can take spring out fit washers nut etc then clamp spring and refit !
I fitted mine without clamps but dpends on how stong/stupid you feel ? :lol:
