--- Quote from: "RedlineMike" ---here WE go again jumping to conclusions, nice to see that some people stop & read what its all about,if your gonna think like that then go & join the ANti's,its not doing us any favours, why be shocked to see 8 vehicles in a convoy?

Ok Redline from Scotland, I thought the front cover looked rather cool and how great it would be to go out as a large convoy but I knew this would be moraly wrong if they were green lanning although I thought it must be on private land or is it. It is not the first time a magazine has done things outside the guidelines, for example the Landrover owners magazine wading through a river when vehicles in rivers were forbidden, spawning season or something, and they also got a rap for leaving the path. I was pointing out that an anti would see the veiws as noted by the intellegent member WishIhadaLandy. An excellent post. I dont think the newsagent would be please if I or an anti stopped and read there magazine, they would shout are you going to buy that. I cant see an anti buying the mag but he would see the front cover and make up his own conclusions at the anti meetings. [Edited] I would want to join the antis when the vehicle I want most is a Landrover Defender.

Yes they are a suggestion in an effort to make sure that green lanes do not get closed. Keep up the cavalier attitude and no more greenlaning and then let a GLASS coordinator say "Well I told you so"
--- Quote from: "RedlineMike" ---personally id be surprised if the amount of vehicles in a convoy whilst out lanning didnt increas simply for the fact that bickering amoungst ourselfs are showing to the antis that we cant even come over on an agreed front,

Which is what the GLASS codes are trying to do, set a standard of behaviour. I am positive that you try to adhere (because of your position and responsibility) to this code Redline or am I wrong?
As you have been pulling potential anti material from the pictures, a good thing in my opinion and well done for your vigilance, I am sure you encourage others to behave responsibily.
On your final note I do like this forum and think it is one of the best, certainly for the community spirit. I dont understand about total posts and rankings, have people been upset by the loss of the post count for each user. Not important to me. If you forum was not free it would not have the imense popularity it has, I do believe many would migrate to another forum. I have seen it happen in the past.

Yes this is a problem. I don't know the solution to it other than promoting 4x4 and there responsible conduct some how? :?
datalas:
it should be noted that the Greenlaning issue in Scotland (and therefore from RedlineMike's perspective) is different to it is in the UK.
Viz a viz, it's already more or less illigal, or at least there aren't any lanes...
tenpolequint:
Yes i was thinking of a southern point of veiw, please elaborate on Redlines perspective.
