Ashley:
what would you recommend to be done to a suzuki for off roading ie suspension mods etc and where do you get the bits from

also the clutch has gone can you get uprated replacements or can you only get standard clutches where is the best place to get them from

its an sj 413 by the way

Cheers for the help and advice

Ashley

Popeye:
Hi Ashley, you don't have to do anything to an SJ to take it off road, take it out 1st then see what you want to do to it. As for clutches you can get uprated ones from various places try

There are some more places but my heads still fuzzy from last night

Personally i wouldnt bother with an uprated clutch, use a cheap one as it'll only get destroyed if you fill the bellhousing with muddy water ! I'd take it out as-is as Popeye says, maybe get some cheap mud terrain tyres but nothing else till you've seen what others are doing and decide how you want to use your car - mud plugging at fundays or green lanes etc.

Vitara only needed decent tires, that said she coped with a playday on really bad road tyres :)

She has now had decent AT tyres on now (General grabber AT2) and a Snorkel to stop her drowing. But se was capable without and I'd guess that would apply even more to an SJ

Popeye:
I've got a set of spare muds with rims that you could use if you want Ashley
