Well they are loud, but added to the racket from the wheel bearings, transfer box, engine, blower and various rattles and squeeks they are more than bearable.  They throw you about a bit though, its like riding on square wheels or riding in a series.......

yes, but they are gr8 in the sticky stuff....and you'll get used to them after not long at all
