I'd love a Landy wi a Jeep straight six in it.....  Does that count?  I'd rather push the Landy than drive a J33p   (Yes i know it is quite likely  )

EvilEd:

--- Quote from: "jim-willy" ---Don't get me wrong I loved my XJ, very fast but the rot is frightening.  And 12mpg is a killer so i can see the attraction of gas.  And parts prices......

I can't even get my 4.0 down that low... How did you only get 12mpg?

I know some Jeeps like to mark their territory as well :)

It was a 4.0 auto wi a blowing manifold so it maybe ran a bit rich.  It also got driven very very quickly, it cornered flat at 80.......  Then i grew up (well not exactly grew up more like i wrote my jeep off) and traded my pimp mobile for a Landy Diesel 8)

Jeeps like their exhausts to be right, Just replaced a nicely kinked catback on mine and suddenly she's a lot happier (Faster) :)

There's a 4.0 straight six on ebay at the moment with gearbox! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jeep-Cherokee-Wrangler-Engine-4-0-L-With-Gear-Box-Y2000_W0QQitemZ4624617603QQcategoryZ13559QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Go on, you know you want to :)

Trouble with Diseasals is going up hill... the new common rail ones are okay, but the old ones just don't like hills! Even the Paj isn't keen on hills above 75ish (in a 130kmh limit of course).

Pike:
told you id open a can of worms, fight, fight, fight :(bigangry):
