Prague has anyone been, need advice on the best place to stay, nightlife etc....?

:D Great place to visit , went for 5 days about 3 yrs ago using Airmiles so stayed in 4 star hotel just off Wenceslas square , which is just a short walk from the old town square , river and most of the historic sites . Loads of bars , clubs ,restaurants , cafes , shops ,  just walk round or get on a streetcar( tram ) taking in the city , tourist information is available in hotels and around the city , excursions to other towns , can recommend Czeski Boudaoutsa ( Probably spelt that wrong ! ) . Just get out there and explore .

Went there at the start of March with a few guys from uni, we stayed in a hostel (wouldnt reconmend it). Loads of Bars and resterants in the centre but be prepared to look for that bit of a smaller place just outside of the centre, where its a bit more personal and the beers that much cheaper!

lovely place, especially for sightseeing (without as many idiots trying to sell you stuff) and cheap beer!
