Disco Geordie:
Got a mate with a Zuke, no I'm not defecting :lol:

Strange rattling sound coming from the engine, only in 1st and 2nd gear and at fairly high revs. No sound when idling.
Engine is a petrol 16v.

Any ideas greatly appreciated

Sounds like first and second gear may be worn. Might be clutch bearing but usually shows in higher gears first ?
