Squeaky steering?

(1/3) > >>

MK-90:
Went laning on Salisbury plains at the weekend and ever since ive had a high pitch squeaky squealy noise coming from the front drivers side wheel every time i turn the steering wheel. Seems to be there all the time...but i cant here it over the engine at speed.

Is there something i need to grease or replace.....sounds very odd?

I dont have PAS .

regards
Adam

Edge:
Ive got it too :( , the bloke at cheviot 4x4 had a look at another unrelated problem for me today and also discovered the drivers side (squeeky) wheel needs the bearing thingy tightening.........Basically there is slight movement when you push and pull the top of the wheel.
You may also have dirt in the pads.

Xtremeteam:
hmm mud shield against the disc, stone in the disc, dry steering UJ,play in the wheel bearing,

Borders:you after a steering guard?

Edge:
I certainly am :D , tried to buy a DAISYCUTTER today, but they are waiting for the upgraded version at cheviot4x4. Got to wait for 2 weeks for delivery.

With regard to my SQUEEK, I only get it when turning LEFT.

MK-90:
lol cheers gents....ill have a butchers tommorrow :D

I get my squeak when turning left and right
