Right as promised, heres the whole of the song

Verse 1-------------

Drove a landrover for many a year
And spent all my money on offroadin gear
Chequer plate snorkel and roof lights so bright
And tyres so knobbly you grin with delight

Chorus--------------

And its off road fever
Offroadin makes me feel free
When I drive my landrover
Offroadins for me

Verse2--------------

Went to the quarry to play in the mud
And never got stuck though they said that I should
Go a bit further try a bit more
Soon needed towing back out of the gore

Chorus

Verse3--------------

Jeeps Landies Fronties n Diahatsu`s
Suki`s n Discos n the odd Hilux too
Messing and playing and trialling in mud
Pulling each other back out of the crud

Chorus

Verse4------------

Broken my tow bar my brakes and exhaust
The money this costs is a drain on resource
Think I should find me a cheaper pastime
But offroadin makes me feel in my prime

Chorus-----to finish

Its not perfect, and I am open to constructive critisism, so if you can think of a better line somewhere then lets hear it! :)

Enjoy
Tony
Ps I have the chords too for any musical types among you :D
If theres a harder way to do it I`ll find it!!

I think I know what Piglet is singing at the moment ...

No Doubt - Don't Speak...

"You and me
We used to be together
Everyday together always
I really feel
That I'm losing my best friend
I can't believe
This could be the end
It looks as though you're letting go ... "

Depends what key you want to sing in but these are what I use:-

I`ll just give you 1 verse and chorus for simplicity

   A                                          D
Drove a landrover for many a year
          A                E7                         A
And spent all my money on offroadin gear
                                                              D
Chequer plate snorkel and roof lights so bright
         A             E7                              A
And tyres so knobbly you grin with delight

Chorus--------------

            E7                       A
And its off road fever ............
                                       D
Offroadin makes me feel free
              A                  D
When I drive my landrover
      A         E7  A
Offroadins for me

Unfortunately the forum won`t let me put the chords exactly where they need to be, but hopefully you can work that out.
Alternatively go to www.guitartabs.cc     and download "the wild rover" then you can see for yourself where the chords are supposed to be.
Hope thats clear

That's lousy acceleration, when you measure it in hours.
