Thanks for the help guys. I did say state the obvious didn't I? :lol: Nothing wrong that I can see. :? Coolant levels great, warm throughout, no blockages, thermostats OK, even drilled a purge hole in the 'stat. Back flushed the whole system. Nothing. Cant check the oil cooler but the oils changed every 3k for semi sympathetic (he's an ex haulage contractor, he has a thing about changing oils and filters). Would have liked to have run a compresion test but didn't have the right adapter. Then I phoned the Nissan dealer. Would seem the vehicle is subject to a recall. Been on the blower to Nissan technical but they can't/wont tell me what the recall is. :evil: This is the second Patrol he's had and the second that's been subject to a recall. The last one went in @ 15k for a new engine!! The saga continues! :roll:
