Been out today with Disco gerordie (Neil) and done the grass hills causeway but also had a nice lady along from the BBC taking some footage.

Took her out and managed to get from one end of grasshills to the other but was going to come back along from the other end and ran into a few problems. The snow had driffed across  the lane and the drifts had partialy frozzen.
Neil got stuck so decided that should use discretion and turn back to use the roads rather than the lane.

The journo was really possative about the whole day and has promised to furnish me with a copy of her tape.
The footage shes shot unfortunatly though may never make it to air.
The purpose of her being out was to shoot some training film.as she is starting a "one person film unit" with in the BEEB.
this entales her shooting the footage and doing all the sound,editing etc.
The film may make it to air but will mostly be used as stock footage.
We took GREAT care not to go hairing around the countryside and she was asking some good questions about NERC etc and she seems to have been very happy with the day.
She asked some informed questions and sounded like she had done a fair bit of reseach into what was going on and issues effecting us all.

her parting coment was that it wasnt what she had been expecting at all.
I think this was a lot to do with the fact that SWMBO had a drive and we had 3 young kids in the back of our car and DG had slightly older kids with him

DG's already got his photos added to gallery and mine will follow soon
All in all felt today has been good publicity not only for responcible off roading but for MC and other groups as well
