Speeding on a motorbike

<< < (4/4)

littlepow:
Those cameras can pick out facial details to a high standard from over 5 miles away day or night.

Just because it doesn't follow you doesn't mean it's not watching.

Karen696:
OK, so how come they spend all this time and money catching one speeding motorcyclist?

Yet they do nothing about the rep's cars that are spotlessly clean except for the loads of crap on the number plates so the cameras can't read em, the growing number of cars (certainly in our region) with totally blacked out side windows,  illegible number plates - strange fonts, extra black headed screws and dodgy spacing.

They can't trace stolen vehicles - don't even seem to care about the crime just give you a crime number, they don't even bother to come round and ask questions,  (trust me I know).

Hit and run drivers. someone lost their legs less than a quarter of a mile from my house on a pelican crossing on a main road, they never found the driver.

Don't bother to prosecute the 4 'owners' of the car that crashed into mine and was then abandoned without bothering to register the vehicle (max £1000  fine for each of them) even though they had their names and addresses - and they admitted the offence....  (and somebody came back the next day and drove the car off on the rims - at speed, despite the flat tyres).

Errrrrr, need I go on?

Don't get me wrong, most of the cops out there are okay guys and do the best job they can, but you have got to wonder sometimes about the number of offences they ignore on a daily basis and also to question their priorities on occasion

(Rant over)

After reading this thread the cynic in me would say maybe the reason they pulled out all the stops on this one was because he out ran there new toy (mitsi evo 8 )
Having said that 130 MPH is crazy and I have no sympathy for him.

Colin 009:
I hope they throw the book at him, just hope he hasn't got an other helmet.

The best thing for him, would be the nearest he would get to use the helmet would be on the back of a bike

But the way the system goes......No comment
