Mine won't even be close! picture a scene of electrical bits - then cover the whole lot in electrical tape - that's more like my creations  :lol:

I just opened the fuse box up found a thick brown cable just above (unswitched power) and spliced a cable into it, through an inline fuse holder and wiggled the cable out through the back of where the cup holder used to be (and now the CB resides). Only took 30 minutes all in.

I like your mounting point, I had originally planned to have it above my head in the map pocket, but scrapped that idea, I've currently got it wedged between the passenger seat and the centre console - I was going to screw it onto the top of the dash......... but now maybe not  :twisted:

That is what I was originally wondering.... how did you do it?

Be aware that if it's on show, somebody might be tempted to help themselves to it.  If it's up high, it's less likely to be spotted.
